

Dr. Mirny feels passionate about cross–cultural and global education. She has lived in 4 countries and worked with teachers, leaders and students in the US, Europe, Australia, Africa and Asia.
Leading the INTREC project at Harvard University Center for Population and Development Studies, Dr. Mirny has worked with faculty/trainers from the US, Germany, Indonesia, Netherlands and Sweden. She also worked with junior researchers/trainees in 9 developing countries -- Ethiopia, Ghana, India, Indonesia, Kenya, Papua New Guinea, Tanzania, South Africa and Vietnam.
Anna's doctoral and postdoctoral research, in addition to her work with Sesame Street, was focusing on children and adolescents in Russia and Russian immigrant students in the USA.
As a Research Director of the WIDE World project at Harvard University Graduate School of Education, Dr. Mirny has worked with school teachers, leaders and students in Australia, China, Jordan, and Singapore, as well as multiple schools in the US.
